My recommendation for learning:

1) pick out an app that you want to create and just start working
with the code

2) If you are fairly new to programming in general then attend
training
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/partnerportal/index.cfm?event=partnerfinder
&showtab=training&

3) If you have some familiarity with programming then the online
videos and training material on Adobe's site may be a great way:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/ and click on "certification & training"

The best way for me to get into it was to work on a project which
forced me to learn. Just keep in mind that if you want to do Flex, I
would also spend time learning AS3 as this will give you a lot of
flexibility in creating your masterpiece.

Subject: [flexcoders] Voice transmission

Hi all,
I saw this karaoke app in the flex showcase and was wondering how they
do the voice
transmission between users. You can see the app here:
http://chitchat.vuilen.com/. <http://chitchat.vuilen.com/> Can anyone
point me to the right direction in how to make an app like this?

Also, I'm pretty new to flex. I've just finished the book, flex training
from the source. But it feels like I've learnt a lot and very little at
the same time X( . Also, there're many interesting apps in the flex
showcase and I still wonder how you can make them. ?.? Can anyone show
me a good way to learn how to make these apps?

Thanks,
Chuck.
