I thought so too. I knocked up this test case:
<mx:TabNavigator>
<mx:VBox>
<mx:TextArea show="{Alert.show('a')}"/>
</mx:VBox>
<mx:VBox>
<mx:TextArea show="{Alert.show('a')}"/>
</mx:VBox>
</mx:TabNavigator>
I never get the pop up.
Can anyone else confirm ? I have at the back of my mind that show/hide events
are only triggered when the visible and/or includeInLayout properties are
toggled ?
