Well GlowFilter.color looks like it is just a standard 24Bit uint color value, the same as most other color properties so don't see anything out of the ordinary there.
If you set the style in a CSS file to a hex string #RRGGBB which is pretty standard and the style is declared as a color type I don't see there should be any problem or any conversion required.
