I don't think this is a bug, I will explain you why: ALT+LEFT/RIGHT is the shortcut for history navigation, ALT+LEFT brings you back to were you were. If you want to move word by word, try: CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT If you want to go to the beginning or the end of the line, just use the "begin" and "end" keys of your keyboard !
