Indeed you can't use JS with your flash forms the same way you do with html forms. There is a global method called submitForm() that you can trigger in actionscript : <cfform format="Flash"> <cfinput type="button" name="submit_btn" onclick="submitForm()"> </cfform> Cheers, Philippe

The validation is working great except that I can't submit it using AS. I have tried calling JS from AS and submitting the form through that but that's not working either. My guess is that since flash form is converted into a swf, it doesn't work like traditional document.form.submit(); action. Sorry for posting CF Form questions here. What should I do?
