If you really have to bombard the user with 60,000 records, paginate them on the server and implement filtering on the server.
Have you ever tried looking at 60,000 records in a web browser? No, I haven't either. I get bored after a couple of pages on Google. Find a way to allow the users to find the needle in a haystack.
