Hi Folks:

I needed to launch two instances of my AIR application. I didn't know how to
adopt a multi-window approach as suggested in this thread (pointers on how to
do that would be most helpful!), so I came up with a very simple poor-man's
workaround that may be useful to others in the community.

1. Find the directory C:\Program Files\MyApp your where your AIR application
was installed

2. Copy the whole directory and create C:\Program Files\MyApp2

3. Open the file C:\Program Files\MyApp2\META-INF\AIR\application.xml in a text
editor

4. Change the application identifier string for this second instance as follows:

<!-- The application identifier string, unique to this application. Required.
-->
<id>MyAppIdentifier2</id>

5. Run from C:\Program Files\MyApp2

That's it!
