Thanks Nick, You are right, once I installed the 32bit versions across the board all is well. Unfortunately, it was not so easy to get the Eclipse 32bit version as most of the download mirrors auto populate the filie list based on my OS, so I had to go to a 32bit Vista box just to do the download :-(.
Money well spend though with this new HW, my total build round trip used to be 10min, now I am at 2min :-) Cheers, Greg On Wed, Jan 6, 2010 at 3:35 PM, Nick Collins <[email protected]> wrote: > > > I believe Flex Builder is still only 32-bit, so it needs to run in a 32-bit > Eclipse, using the 32-bit JDK. > > > On Wed, Jan 6, 2010 at 12:33 PM, Greg Hess <[email protected]> wrote: > >> >> >> Hi Folks, >> >> Well, I took the plunge have Windows 7 64bit, have installed JDK 6 Update >> 17(64bit) and Eclipse 3.4. >> >> Unfortunately, I have issues installing Flex Builder 3 Eclipse plugin.
