Can you please file a bug at http://bugs.adobe.com/flex/ against the Flex SDK project and include a simple test case.

I was using the the Colbalt Graphical Theme under the Flex 4 Graphical Themes in the Project Properties > Flex Theme section. It turns out that the scroller is broken for all components when using this theme!!! HTH
