[flexcoders] Flex 4 list of text elements!

I have a list of text elements in an item renderer. When I try to scroll the 
lis though I have to make sure my mouse is not over the text areas, even though 
my textareas don't have any scroll bars!! Is there a way to disable the 
scrolling completely? I would still like the users to be able to select the the 
text.
