Hi, I'm posting this to drive your attention to this bug:
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-3513
It may not sound as very critical, but the consequences are really not nice.
Me and a friend of mine where trying to find any possible way to work around
that while using Mochiads AS2 API. And there is no way to actually do
anything about it, unless you're going to write an evaluator of SWF format
v8 in AS2, which, by all means isn't worth the time.

The consequences of this bug are these: the banner exchange networks, which,
for the most part demand the banners to be of SWF v8 and below simply do not
work (if your SWF is supposed to tell the loaded SWF when something in it is
clicked etc.) if loaded into another SWF v8 and below. Besides obsolete
SWFs, there are actually quite new SWFs, which target FP versions up to
10.0.42 and rely on these API as well. Generally speaking, the more people
will update to FP 10 in the near future, the more SWF banners will stop
working.

Please take your time to cast your vote for this issue. It might not be
important to you personally, but it will save many of the flash game makers
a big frustration.

Best.

Oleg
