You could try using your back end server to create the PDF. I have had excellent results with TCPDF (http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=tcpdf) on my PHP server. One caveat - my server has 16 dual core processors and 32GB of RAM. YMMV.
