I actually use the Yahoo Web GUI exclusively. Other responses in line...

> There's no way to add a screen shot to a post, sometimes it's easier
showing a visual bug/problem with a small picture.

Not true. I haven't done it myself but I've seen others attach
files/screen shots.

> The Search bar at the top is confusing, it's easy to mistakenly search
for a group rather than the context of a topic.

Huh? How can you say that. It has a Search: text portion; A text field;
And a large Search button. The Group Search text field actually has the
text "Search for other groups...". I have never been confused.

> Yahoo seems to forget on a daily basis that I belong to this group. so
I have to re-join.

Perhaps that is your client or some setting. This never happens to me.

> There's no code formatting, attaching code here is the worst.

Use the rich text editor and set your code to use Verdana. Then just
copy/paste your code. Looks great to me.

> Formatting the flow of threads really sucks.

Huh? That is the very reason I use the GUI. The flow of a thread is
right there. I can read each post one after the other.

> There's no nice history of my posts with replies.

Do an Advanced search with your name in the Author field.

One thing I don't like about Yahoo is that it takes a long time for
posts to end up in their search database. As a workaround I use Nabble
to search for newer posts.
