Someday, adobe wll have one public bug base. Bug #1509350 is in the internal bug base. I looked it up and they have no plans to fix. I would try AIR 2.0 and see if it accidentally got fixed.

I have run into the same problem as this bug, I am using FB4, SDK3.2. According to JIRA this bug is closed as it is a duplicate of 1509350, but when you search for 1509350 it says no such bug exists.
