skill in Flash, Flex and RIA development to join the Online Media Group in the 
role of Web Developer.  If you are an innovative, highly organized Web 
Developer who thrives in a fast paced, forward thinking environment, then this

The Web Developer is part of the Online Media Group working on Hasbro’s 
consumer facing web sites (Hasbro.com, Monopoly.com, Transformers. com, 
LittlestPetShop. com, etc), Flash based entertainment sites, and supporting 
applications. The web developer works closely with other developers, DBAs, 
SysAdmins, online marketers, consumer affairs staff, and more. 
  
Responsibilities:  

Support existing Flash sites and applications, developing and integrating new 
features and functionality as required. 
Help plan, design and develop new Flash and Flex applications. 
Coordinate with consultants and vendors on the development of Flash and Flex 
applications, ensuring that incoming projects comply with Hasbro’s development 
standards. 
Work with business clients to ensure that applications fit the needs of US and 
international users.  
Manage multiple web projects simultaneously on a daily basis. 
Day-to-day maintenance of respective brand web pages. 
  
Requirements: 
  

3-5+ years of Flash development. 
1-3+ years of Flex development. 
Profiency in AS2 and AS3. 
Experience with other aspects of web development, including HTML, XML, 
javascript, CSS. 
Familiarity with integrating Flash and Flex applications to back-end systems. 
Experience with server side programming languages – ideally CFML and/or PHP – 
strongly preferred. 
Familiarity with Flash localization. 
Experience with FLV and video players. 
Experience integrating analytics hooks into Flash and Flex apps preferred 
(Google, Omniture, etc) 
Solid oral and written communication skills. 
Familiarity with the Internet and current trends in web technology, and the 
desire to learn appropriate new technologies. 
Ability to work independently as well as with a team. 
Ability to work under tight deadline constraints. 
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. 
Technical writing and editing skills desirable (e.g., technical specifications, 
help documentation, product documentation) 
Scrum experience preferred. 
Source code samples and URL samples are required. 
B.A., B.S. degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Consumer facing website development experience desired
