Flex executes on client side , and so client load your file on his browser nothing to seems taking virtual memory as it might be happen with execution of code or maybe server it self ,I have more doubt on web orb ? because each time client load ur application it must took the connection with the serverside , to debug comment ur weborb connection from swf file and then load tht file .
