Excellent. That's relieving.:)
BTW, I just rebooted that box so it'll be down for a few
minutes.

I have the same player version
and using FFX 1.0.7. Nevermind I tried to upload a 0 bytes file. I just now
uploaded a 504 byte file... all good!

Interesting. We're not seeing that. This is what we
see in both IE and FFX for a particular file that is less than
64K.
fileReference: [object Object] type: onSelect
fileReference: [object Object] type: onOpen
fileReference: [object Object] type: onProgress bytesLoaded: 20992 bytesTotal: 20992
fileReference: [object Object] type: onComplete
fileReference: [object Object] type: onOpen
fileReference: [object Object] type: onProgress bytesLoaded: 20992 bytesTotal: 20992
fileReference: [object Object] type: onComplete
For files larger,we get multiple chunked uploads until
complete.
I wonder if we are using different minor versions of the
player. When I go to "About Macromedia Flash Player 8", I get "You have
version 8,0,22,0 installed". What version do you have?

Well the UI comes up, but
cannot upload, its displays:
fileReference: [object Object]
type: onSelect
fileReference: [object Object] type: onIOError
fileReference: [object Object] type: onIOError

Subject: [flexcoders] Opening Browse Window In Flex like yahoo/rediff
HI All,
I want to open attachment window like we have in Yahoo/Rediff where if
we want to send a file we click on attachment button & then attchment
window opens from where we can attach files.
lly,I want to do this in Flex.
I tried with
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flex/articles/fp8_features.html this
URL but with the help of this only I am able to open window only but
when I select a file from that window that selected file path is not
displaying in text box.
So anybody tell how to do this.
Thanks in advance,
Sandip Patil
