You may start with setting the *selectableRange* of the second DateField.
This property accepts an Object as a parameter. The Object contains two 
properties, |rangeStart| and |rangeEnd|, of type Date. If you specify 
only |rangeStart|, all the dates after the specified date are enabled.

So you may just want to bind *rangeStart* as the *selectedDate+1* of the 
first DateField. This way the user will never enter a date lower than 
the start date! I think this is much user-friendly than allowing him to 
enter an undesired date and then correct it.
