The CF adapter is designed to run side-by-side with the
existing remoting service in the CF server. Flex 2 uses a different version of
remoting than Flex 1.5 or the Flash Remoting components in Flash 8. So if you
want to use the enhancements in the adapter, you have to access them from Flex 2
(and eventually a new version of Flash authoring). HTH
