Jagadeesh, I usually have 1 page per application but if I had to use several it wouldn't be a problel. I use Coldfusion and when I log in in flex, I authenticate using SetCredentials on my RemoteObject. If I had to check in another mxml file, I just would call a remote Object (Upon creationComplete or initialize) that would check if the user is logged in or not.
Are you redirecting to another mxml file after authentication? Please provide any sample code regarding this.. thanks, Jagadeesh Dimitrios Gianninas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi, You don't need to do that. In Flex, you can load the user data using some remote call (using as example RemoteObject) and save it in a variable on the Flex side and use it whenever you want. Normally you would put the variable in the root MXML file and access it when needed. If you get more advanced, and use say the Cairngorm framework, you would save the user data in the ModelLocator. Hope that helps.
