Hi there, We announced at MAX that a Flex 2.0 port of Cairngorm will be forthcoming asap, with a Cairngorm 2.0 release coinciding with the release of Flex 2.0.
In terms of "Flex 2.0 doesn't have access to AMF remote calls", this isn't strictly true. With Flex 2.0, the new Enterprise Data Services are one option (a data services architecture) for server-side integration, but the "old-school" RemoteObject(AMF)/WebServices/HTTPService technique for integration is now called RPC Services, and is still available to you as a developer (a service oriented architecture). However, the Flex 2.0 alpha doesn't have any of the Enterprise Data Service bits shipped yet. It seems that flex 2.0 doesn't have access to amf remote calls which is built into the framework. Do we simply remove the remote method calls and place in web service calls?
