The current RemoteObject, WebService and HTTPService
methods of integration are still there in Flex 2.0 Enterprise Services; they are
now referred to as "RPC Services".
"Data Services" refers to the new additions to the
feature-set of the Flex Server for data service integration.
So yes, you'll still be able to use your WebService
code.

Subject: [flexcoders] Flex2 outlook on Webservice supportThere has been alot of talk about the new protocols and binary comms that Flex and the new Flash Player will support. Can we assume that the web service support will @ least remain if not improve as Flex matures? Lots of the literature on Flex2 seems to downplay the web service portion of the Flex data services.Thanks.Joey Mink[Software Engineer @ Solers, Inc.]Voice: 703 480 2450Fax: 703 263 2663
