There is a way, it seems somewhat backwards and im sure there a re better methods but this is what I did.

 

1. Change the servers flex config file and set production mode to false.

 

2. Restart flex

 

3. Browse to the .mxml file and it will recompile it

 

4. Once you are happy that it has implemented these changes and no further changes are required alter the flex config file and set production mode to true and restart again.
