LifeCoach has a mixture of the two, and interactions between the two. Pure animation/training/theraphy interacting say with a Flex testing interface, itself interacting with a web services based Java testing engine, and all of it working through a single signon layer.
You are going to find there is going to be in most major Flex applications a mixed use of Flex, Flash, HTML, data services etc. Thats where the sweet spot is.
