Ok, I already know how to change the the ErrorTip for form fields, but the problem I am having is that I would like to change the initial border thickness when an error occurs on one of my validation listeners. I would like to make it the same size as when you focus in on a field that has an error. I would also like to change the background of that field.
My initial thought was to subclass one of the validators and change these properties on the listener when an error occurs, but it looks like this is something that flex does internally.
