This is weird, sorry.  It's a bug.  In any case, you don't have to set
"className" for your Application, because there's only one application
(so you can directly go ahead and add a type selector for
"Application" in your CSS).  className needs to be set when you want a
subclass to have different default styles than a superclass.  For
example, Button and CheckBox, or Panel and MyPanel (your custom
Panel-based component).
