On closer inspection, the default preloader sets an enter frame handler which seems to get called a few precious times during initialization.
Now for the magic question, lets say we want to keep the loader up for a bit longer than it's normal lifecycle (e.g. you're displaying something you want to make sure the user has enough time to read no matter how fast the loading is). Is there a way to keep the preloader open longer if getInterval() is below some threshold? Who kills the progress bar and is there a way to defer it? ------------------------ Yahoo!
