[flexcoders] Bar Chart with Dates

Hi, Can someone help me with a way to display a bar chart with floating bars depicting say the start date and end date (similar to a project planner) such that the length of the bar is the duration! The startDate and endDate are available as Date objects. The question is related to using Date values. I can do it with numbers. The question is more related to what is the best practice.
