JesterXL, Thank you for the quick reply. What I was looking for may not be possible. I was looking for a way to add icons to add dynamic icons to a combobox either through pure MXML and/or action script. In the example you sent, it appeared you were creating a new flash component. Since I am not very familiar with Flash, it is difficult for me to follow your example. Perhaps that is the problem, I assumed that in order to use Flex, there was not a requirement to be able to use flash.
