Yes, I've done this a bit. The way I did it, I had an RFID reader 
connected to the network, and .NET app getting data from the reader 
over the network and dumping it into a DB. Then I had some .NET web 
services that interfaced with a Flex app to visually display the data. 
I had the tag ID  point to an object in a DB and just displayed a pic 
of for each object. Kind of like an inventory app.

This was done with Alien readers and Alien tags. E-mail me if you have
