The problem… Well, I figured out the problem with my cellRenderer moving about. Let’s say I have 4 grid columns, with the third one having a cellRenderer function. Now with actionscript, I do a hide on the third column:   myDataGrid.getColumnAt(2).visible = false;   I’d assume it would hide the column with the cellRenderer, which it does – but the cellRenderer moves to the 4th column! Unhiding the column with a visible = true returns everything back to normal. The code for this is real simple. Have a cellRenderer on the 3rd column of a Datagrid with 4 columns, by doing <mx:DataGridColumn cellRenderer="{DistanceRenderer}" etc>.
