Usually the compiler doesn't know where that left brace is located, and like I said this is probably via generated code so it's having a hard time matching it up into your source file.
Check all of your event handlers and binding statements. Also you can turn on keep-generated (--keep-generated-as=true as an additional compiler arg) (though that may not work in FB in the Alpha) and take a look at the generated files and find the error in there.
