Hi, Am currently enjoying messing around with the flex2 beta but as i work on a mac i have had to piece together a working environment for myself (mxmlc, eclipse, oxygen, asdt, ant works pretty sweet for the purpose).
The mac 8.5 alpha release was the debug player.... so i could use trace and look at the logs to see what was happening - however the beta player for the mac is not the debug player - which makes things difficult. I have ported the asdt logging classes to as3 - so can use that - but if the socket server isn't running it causes the browser to crash (a bug?).
