why dont you simplify things a bit. put your FullNameRenderer into
the same folder location as your ComboBox mxml application.
and do this
<mx:ComboBox creationComplete="test(event)">
function test(event){
event.target.dropdown.cellRenderer = FullNameRenderer;
}
