Additionally we’re trying hard to get true TLS support for RTMP so that you’ll have a secure persistent socket connection.

I guess, it should support. If not, then it won't be hard doing the same by setting up few things in place. I guess, FES uses RTMP/AMF as communication protocol and you can make both of these work over SSL.
