Hey Pete, thank you for the extensive answer! Since you know your
stuff, and seem willing to help, I'll keep picking your brain.

So I'm clear, the only things that need to be installed on my
development pc are the Flex Builder IDE and Flash Player? On the
server, I need to install the CF Connecter, Flex Data Services, and
Flex Charting?

Then, I write the mxml syntax (which the compiler will read the
convert into the swf layout?), and the actionscript syntax (which the
compiler will embed into the swf and this is what is read by the
flash player?).

Then, once deployed to the server, the swf is included in a web page
(html, cf, etc.), which the user will browse to, load the swf in
their flash player, and how to exchange data with the server is
basically hardcoded into the swf. If so, it's not a matter of
copying that same swf from the development site to the live site, as
the hardcoding will be wrong. We'll need to recompile the swf with
proper "endpoints", right?

Regarding remoting method, is there is speed benefit to any one
method? I've heard the RemoteObject is the best method to use with
CF as it's the simplest, is that true?

Thanks again for all your help; truly appreciated.
Ryan
