Hmmm,

Not a data service we use (we prefer webservice) but I dont see why it
would be different.  Now that said I know for a fact we dont use
fastmxmlc.  I dont remember why though.

Have you tried some kind of proxy (like charles) to see if the data
call is being made on the wire?
