I also confirm Peter's solution by using "executeBindings".  Basically import mx.core.Application and add this line of code at the bottom of SalesCommand's onResult function "Application.application.executeBindings(true);". I only had the time to confirm these two things.  I didn't find any more information to narrow it down.
