A few things to try that have worked for me: - delete the contents of your generated folder & recompile - delay initialization code in your main application mxml file by 1 frame (use doLater, or a 2 second interval / timeout) - make a change to a file (such as adding a line break), save the file, delete generated, and recompile     ----- Original Message ----- From: Simon Fifield To: flexcoders@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2006 1:12 PM Subject: [flexcoders] Flex 1.5 app hangs when loading I have a flex app that has been loading perfectly well on my localhost dev machine (WinXP/Apache2/Tomcat5 - http://localhost/flexapp/index.mxml). But when I upload it to the staging server(RHEL3/Apache2/Tomcat5 - http://my.domain.com/index.mxml) it will not load, its just hang at 3% to 7%.   I've found people on flexcoders having the same problem but no-one has posted their solution!   It can't be a compilation problem because its obviously built the swf and is attempting to load it. It can't be anything to do with Services because it hasn't even got to that stage yet.
