Which process was it that took the memory, FES or the Player?  Obviously it shouldn’t happen but it’s also hard to know what it was doing.  We did some experiments recently that showed our code wasn’t leaking, but that’s not to say it wasn’t in beta 2…

Subject: [flexcoders] FES-B2 - Memory leaking concern

I start playing with FES Beta 2 version and realized that if I left my computer on for a day or so with the flex app running the computer will eventually run out of RAM and a low virtual memory warning will show.

I know that there are few docs that tells how the player works and I was wondering if this is an issue with the FlashPlayer 8.5 or are some issues with the Flex Framework that will be addressed at a latter time.

Best regards,
Valy
