Sorry for not replying sooner, been so busy with another section of
code in the app so haven't had a chance to try out the suggestions.
I tried the measure() method and it worked like a charm. Haven't
tried the scrollbar approach but I think that would have worked also.
I did have a closer read of the Flex2 component.pdf and things are
making more sense.
