Hi Bill,
I am struggling with trying to set up Mystic so Coldfusion can work with flex. When I saw this orginal e-mail I thought that I needed to change this.

I am a newbie at flex, and setting this Mystic up is really throwing me. I feel like I am just not getting it. Being a newbie I hear things, and think maybe I should try this?? In this case maybe it was wrong.

I just really want to get this set up, and I am really sorry if I have wasted anybody's time, but it seems to me that everything I try nothing is working. I hope that I installed the cfmx hotfix file correct, I wrote a blog about it if your interested:
http://www.johnbarrett.net/blog/index.cfm/2006/5/11/Mystic

I am going to try again tonight to get it working, hopefully I can figure it out, and start using it.

Thanks you very mmuch for all your help,
John

Hi John –

This throws the error - http://localhost/flex2gateway The URL is not terminated with the “/”

This gives a blank page - http://localhost/flex2gateway/ as the URL is properly terminated. This is only useful as an internal reference for CF.

My question to you is – why do you care about either one? How are you using these? There’s *nowhere* in any documentation or instructions that references this particular URI as being useful to you the developer. Please do not use this to *validate* your setup! I work on the CF team and I’m very curious as to how your using this information. Please let us know. Thanks!

Hi,
Okay it is working now, I get a blank page. I guess it
took a while, not sure why. Now I can begin to try to
intergrate Mystic.
