Is there any way that I could discuss this issue with you off-list. 
I'm currently looking for a server-side implementation of data
services that complies with Cairngorm, but (understandably) FDS
doesn't seem to offer that much benefit for .NET integration.  If
you get a few free moments, I would appreciate briefly discussing
this with you.
