Hi Duncan, The .as file does go at the same level as the .mxml file, but I don't think it'll work with 1.5 because the class libraries are different - RemotingConnection extends NetConnection and the whole structure of remoting seems to be different in Flex 2.0 There's stuff on the AMFPHP site though about Flex 1.5 at the bottom of this page http://www.amfphp.org/docs/otherplatforms.html - if you get a 404 error just keep trying the server seems to be a bit flakey.
