If you've ever done support though you'll know how many times someone will say they're using the official release when later they remember that "oh yeah, I did try that experiment a few weeks ago and must have forgotten to undo it" :-)
We are not against the idea, but it will take time for us to figure out the right way to do it so that expectations can be managed and we can continue to be responsive.
