the link out of the cfide was and is...
http://127.0.0.1:8500/cfide/administrator/eventgateway/gateways.cfm?gwid=Flex2CF&action=start
so this addresses the same cfm as the start/stop buttons for the other
gateway instances, nothing inappropriate.
This was in the cf exception log:
