Same thing I've been doing since Flash 5,
converting XML to array's of objects.
Check out the Factory here. My E4X skills are
horrible, BUT I can get useful data from it.

Subject: [flexcoders] Re: XML returned from HTTPService is not
preserved as XML But now I'm up another creek. I want to assign some of the values of this return to comboboxes and datagrids as their dataproviders. Before, I could do so easily, as the results were converted to Arrays, but now it's not so simple, and I'm banging my head yet again. What is the best way to get XML back from an HTTPService and actually use it as dataProviders, but still maintain the flexibility of having is in an e4x format? Please! How are you guys doing this? Maybe I just need to sleep or something..... But I'm going insane. Cheers, Jordan On 7/7/06, Jordan
