I am working with a dg that holds parties attached to a particular file, and when all the information for the file is filled in and the user clicks save, I have added this to the save fucnction.
partyDG.dataProvider.removeAll(); This is how I have always cleared out a dg, but not for some reason it is not working, and I can not find any changes with in the flex livedocs to tell me that it is any different from what I have always used.
