I've seen several references to the possibility of uploading BitmapData or similar client-derived images to a server using PHP, but I can't find any actual examples. While the docs do have an example of using FileReference to upload a client-side file off the filesystem, it seems the code is likely to be fairly different than trying to "upload" the data derived from a client-side image manipulation. Note that there are some Flash-centric examples or ones that use PHP and GD but that seems to make things more complicated than they need to be. If possible, it would be great to have something that was straight Actionscript 3.
