Tim, thanks.. I'm trying to use that code but having a problem with this
line:

the parent of the popup.
popUpParent = mainCanvas;
I changed "mainCanvas" to "mainPanel" because my primary UI component is
a panel with ID="mainPanel"
But when I try to compile I get:
Severity Description Resource In Folder Location
Creation Time Id
2 1120: Access of undefined property mainPanel. DukeMagSearch_ro.mxml
DukeMagSearch_ro line 20 August 1, 2006 8:03:01 AM 126
What am I doing wrong here?
